With a fresh twist to classic patterns and distinctive design, Paula Prass created Mimi’s Collection in 2003. Mimi’s Collection is a home décor line that makes every child or baby’s room anything but ordinary. As an interior designer and artist, Paula sketches, paints and digitally creates all Mimi’s Collection designs.
Before the start of Mimi’s Collection, Paula Prass, Allied Member ASID, operated her own successful interior design business. She is a nationally published and award-winning interior designer. However, when she was handed her dream job, designing her first grandchild’s nursery, it sparked an unstoppable passion to finally create upscale children’s home accessories. Another grandchild later, and with a thriving business at hand, Paula welcomed yet another dream come true… working alongside her favorite (okay, only) daughter Jennifer, Mom to product testers Wyatt and Amelia.
Paula considers herself a late-bloomer in the world of children’s décor. Anyone who knows her young spirit and wit, as well as the fresh, whimsical approach to the designs she creates for Mimi’s Collection would have to disagree.
